What it is

Cartalax is a synthetic tripeptide (Ala-Glu-Asp) from the Khavinson family of short-chain peptide bioregulators, originally derived from cartilage tissue extracts. In laboratory research it is studied for its putative epigenetic effects on chondrocyte differentiation and cartilage matrix gene expression.
