Hexarelin: literature-reported ranges

Hexarelin is the most potent of the classic hexapeptide secretagogues and, unusually, has a cardiac literature independent of its GH effects, mediated through CD36 rather than the ghrelin receptor.

How to read these figures

  • Cortisol and prolactin elevation is reported alongside GH — this is not a selective compound.
  • Tachyphylaxis over weeks is one of the better-documented findings for the molecule.
  • The cardiac literature uses quantities far above the GH-release figures.
