Humanin: literature-reported ranges

Humanin was identified in a screen of surviving neurons in Alzheimer's brain tissue and is studied for cytoprotection, insulin sensitivity and neuronal survival. Nearly all quantitative work uses the potentiated analogue HNG rather than native humanin.

Reconstitution maths

A 10 mg vial in 2 mL of bacteriostatic water gives 5 mg/mL. Confirm whether the vial contains native humanin or the HNG analogue — they are not interchangeable.
